“Holly showed great patience and care helping Shadow through his fear of nail trimmings. Before I adopted him, Shadow was hit by a car and shattered his leg. It healed great, and he can run like crazy, but he developed an intense fear of having his feet touched.

Prior to coming to Positive Start, Shadow had to be muzzled and sedated in a vet’s office in order to have his nails trimmed. The process was stressful for him and for me.

Holly was not only able to train him to stay calm while she trimmed his nails, but she showed me the process she used so that I could successfully work with him at home. I am now able to clip his nails safely and calmly at home! Thank you!”
